a field report from the organized chaos of my creative space…
🌃Opening Transmission
🍂🌠 September Note: On my walk today, I watched the leaves already turning, dying, letting go, and drifting to the ground faster than I expected. Summer felt like it passed in a fog. Maybe that’s the fires in Eastern Washington, the smoke that thickened the air and kept us caged inside more days than not. It wasn’t as brutal as summers past, heat-wise. And now, somehow, all I can think about is Halloween.

💁♀️On Support – August
I am deeply grateful for those who choose to support me. That’s the feeling underneath it all; reverence, because it is a choice. Someone said, “Her. She’s the one I want to see keep creating.” It humbles me every time I think about it. Across the distance, I feel you feeling it with me: the shared pains and shared wins, all of it sounding like one voice of survival. I am richer in this life because of every one of you who has chosen to support my creative and literary work.
Thanks to your generosity, I was recently able to get a haul of art supplies. I made a twenty-minute video for my Paper Paint Blood founders, my Bloodkith, sharing what I picked up and just talking with you. If you’re a PPB founder, you can watch it here: What the Bloodkith Bought

🎯My Target Focus
- I’m still deep in editing Anatomy of the Dark Empath. This has been one of the deepest dives I’ve taken into myself, and I’m better for it. A workbook journal will follow alongside it. ✍️
- Something shifted in me over this full moon in Pisces. I feel more serious, less interested in, less tolerant of, trivial things. Intentional living has become something I hold onto deeply now.
- I’m still moving through this dip in my health, determined to outlast this gnawing whisper in my body. My joints still strain against the pain, and I’m meeting it slowly, softly and with self-care, self-love, one day at a time. Just me, teas and tinctures, and the rain beginning to settle into the night air.
Before You Go
Forgive yourself for the mistakes of your past. Some things call for reconciliation. Others call for resolve, and the willingness to move on. Only you can decide which one feels true to your own spirit. Whatever it is: do it. Then let yourself grow from there.
It’s okay. The key is always self-adjustment through awareness; one deep breath that redirects you back toward your own path of success, which for so many of us is really just peace, and the freedom to create daily.
I believe in our collective ability to expand our consciousness, find the core of our I AM, and come into alignment with why we’re here on this beautiful earth, and what we hope to leave behind.
With so much love,
