I was born into a Naval family, beginning my life with a childhood filled with adventure and exploration as my father retired from the Navy and went to work for Northrup Grumman. However, my idyllic years came to an abrupt end when my mother was lured into an evangelical cult known as Sam Fife’s Move of God. In my memoir, “Cult Child,” I delve into the challenging circumstances of my upbringing within two wilderness compounds, highlighting the resilience that got me through those difficult, formative years.

At the age of fourteen, I found myself in Tennessee, where I pursued my education, attending high school and later college. Seeking a fresh start, I ventured to the Pacific Northwest in the mid-1990s and discovered a sense of belonging in the inlets and forests of Puget Sound. The region’s lush landscapes, surrounded by water and nature, captivated me, particularly the enchanting long, rainy winters that provided comfort and inspiration.

I channel my passions through artistry, finding comfort and expression in my creations. Above all, I cherish the company of my loved ones, my wonderful sons and family, and spending moments with them.

My fourth book, “Keeper of Backwards Men,” is now live! If you enjoy emotion-stirring prose, you will love this book, which contains curated pieces of my writing spanning over thirty years.

Currently, I am embarking on a new endeavor, delving into the realms of science fiction as I work on my first novel in the genre of SFE Novum, “Centarficus“. I’m eager to share this realm with the world.
