Feeling Fashion Forward

I’m a cult kid. i didn’t get to create my own style as a child. So, now, I thoroughly enjoy funkiness in my wardrobe. I love being different, going against the grains and most of all mixing the feel of the feminine and masculine in my style. So today, I’m feeling fashion forward.

Dress to impress yourself. Mix it up! who cares whay anyone else thinks as long as you look in the mirror and love who you see!

Words From My Father

Spoken Version

Light travels everywhere within the Universe. The speed at which light travels in the emptiness of Universe space is 186,000 MILES per SECOND. Our Sun is about 93 million miles from earth, so it requires about 8 MINUTES for a beam of sunlight to travel from the Sun to us here on Earth. If one calculates the number of seconds of time within 1 YEAR, you’d find that a beam of light travels about 6 TRILLION miles in the time of 1 YEAR!

Nobody in science has ever viewed a singular object that could be called the SB [Supreme Being]. The knowledge of space & time is spread across a wide range of what SB entails. And the ‘Rules’ are the same everywhere in our Universe. The Rules also apply to the millions of cells in our personal brains. And we are given the choice of what to do with those cells when we make a personal choice. We can love, we can hate, and even kill, with the choice we decide to make with those cells. That choice still resides within the single individual. So……… do your best to remain true to your thoughts and wishes. The Bible-bangers were kidding themselves, and all others, if they thought their writings & words were going to change the humanoids and make them better. You’ll ultimately be responsible for all of the choices you make! The SB ‘designed’ it that way.

May all the above give you something to think about, -Dad-“

Five Ways To Maintain Your Critical Thinking During Socially Triggering Times

1. STAY MINDFUL OF WHAT YOU WATCH/READ IN REGARD TO NEWS

I wouldn’t watch the news these days without a pen and a piece of paper in hand. Why? I’d need to take notes as to what is being presented TO ME. There are two phrases that make me shut down immediately toward a journalist who has taken upon themselves the ethical responsibility to investigate and report facts about important situations, doing so SEPARATE from their own personal opinions or thoughts on the subject. “Just the facts, please.”

The two phrases that make me turn it off, turn the page or click that X in the top right-hand corner are:

“I think…”
“My opinion is…”

This is not journalism. These are opinion voices.

I don’t care about a journalist’s opinion. Again, “Just the facts, please, along with fact checking to back it up would be nice.” I can form my own conclusions from facts.

Listen very carefully to what is being said by news anchors about what is happening in the world and your country. There is a side of NLP called Dark NLP. It is neurolinguistic programming used from a negative angle to control your mind, the way you think, react, and feel about a subject. NLP existed long before the trend of using it as a “therapy” tool. NLP originated in the 1950’s and soon became a very handy tool of the CIA.

Dark NLP is language purposefully used to skew your mind. It is filled with specific words and body language strategically inserted into information that is being fed to you visually and audibly.

Red

“Red is the color of anger,” she said. “orange, the hues of the lows in you.”

Since when had she become the expert of my colors? Red is the blood dancing through me and orange is my sunset. Blue is my melancholy and violet my severance of free. My color has its own definition, and my rainbows don’t arch. They have edges, sharp and wordless, like the green of trees when I am nature bathing.

The Universal Eye of Justice Is Always Watching

Go to the thrift store. Get a nice frame. Take out the art. Replace it with your own. Grab your Acrylic Pens and go for it.

Music: “Seven” by Prince

The Universal eye of justice is always watching. Keep your intent rooted in loving boundaries. Take care of yourself. Fall into your passions. Disappear for the winter. Emerge new in the spring. Do what makes you happy. And for the sake of your mental health, create art!

I use this 136 pound oil and acrylic paper. It’s bleed proof. Remember that there are no rules to creating art. You can be abstract. You can spill and pour. Pouring is a great way to begin making art. The Art of Paint Pouring is a great book for beginners You can be messy! I love this book, Get Messy Art: The No-Rules, No-Judgment, and No-Pressure Approach to Making Art by Caylee Grey. Layering art is fun. Drawing circles and lines using color and smudging with your fingers, let yourself be free!

I’ve Got Your Number, Lonely

When fall arrives, I get a bit excited. The rainy season means I get long days of hibernation, and being the pluviophile I am, the raindrops inspire my creativity.

I have been listening to Black Pumas on repeat. Especially their song, Oct 33. It crawls all up into my cellular system, hugging my emotions and titillating my brain.

“I’ve got your number, lonely
October 33

I wear it on my soul’s back
Like, fair, fair, fair
A
nd, I can hear the brass ring, I hear it in the nosebleeds
Where you once felt a cold breeze
Think it was Halloween…”

Black Pumas “Oct 33”

This album is worth an add into your collection. The lyrics of these songs tell stories of intimate relationships and observations of societal connections. I fall into Black Pumas as I paint. Eric Burton’s voice is a mixture of Brandy and a tear in your beer. NuJazz mixed with NuFolk, R&B rhythms and a unique style of their own, I promise that you will feel with this music.

Where Is Nowhere?

New world
New order
New priority
New lenses
Aloneness
Is pertinent

That was the day I went nowhere for a very long time.

Where is nowhere? On the edge of sanity, where all the color and magic resides?

I fall asleep at moonrise and awaken at thrice night where everything goes quiet. So quiet.

I can walk away any day. I can turn my face toward the places I seek out light, information and truth about this existence.

So I go. I go to listen. Sweet harmonics. Otherworldly style.

I’m only here to leave scrolls as I grow old. I’m stepping through the hues of you.

This shit ain’t brand new.

It’s the aftermath of infinity, being no one, and nothing for too long.

Send the bell. Bang the gong. Follow along if you dare; should you care to stand in the footsteps of thriving in as many weird ways as possible.

You gonna let ‘em see in, kid?

Probably not. Used to be so raw. Not feeling interested. I’m gonna be a cliff away from absence by the time they notice I’m gone.

We always hung there, you know, in the gray with the grays.

I’m about to tell the stories. I used to sing the blues to avoid it. But time is ticking, I’m getting fickle so I gotta go finish.

Eh, Mr. Mahoney. I remember the project.

New commander.
New understanding.
New handling.
New vibrations.
Contradictions.
Release them.
