Streetlights flicker on my skin,
Every shadow tries to crawl within.
I glow, I burn, I can’t refuse,
But every flame will draw the bruise.

Moths in the static,
Whispers in wires,
Pulling you closer
Into my fire.

When you’re a light, you will always attract bugs.
They circle and circle, feeding on what was.
I shine, I shimmer, I never unplug,
But the brighter I am, the darker they love.

Velvet voices creep through the haze,
Promises sweet, but it’s all a maze.
I carry sparks they want to steal,
But shadows bite at what is real.

Buzzing in the silence…
Touch me, drain me,
